He's a good player, he has improved them, that's what you get when you spend £70 million on a player, but they still have a dodgy defence, Martial recently played his 1 good game in 20, Pogba will blow up again soon and De Gea is still an accident waiting to happen, Greenwood looks a good player, while Ole is in charge they will be top 4/challenging but not winning PL. You can't read anything into recent stats, as this situation is so unique, players taking a long break and some coming back great, some looking awful, playing in empty stadia, look at how Sheffield Utd suffered coming back, they are droppong out of top 4 running.

Well, he has cost 47m plus add ons and he joined before the break. I think their defence look quite good now, they are not conceding much and if they add Sancho, I think they will be contenders. So you feel nothing to worry about?

It does concern me for their long term recovery coming a bit quicker and they have some very good youngsters. But they have a keeper who has gone from great to hit and miss and on to absolutely awful.
Fernandes looks like one of those players that would fit into any team. Such a player will always improve a team. But for me Man United are really just running through beaten horses at the moment. They have these runs where they don't get beaten but look at who they have played in that run. Then look at the bad runs they have had under OGS. Whilst he is there this will keep happening and there will always be 3 or 4 teams better than them in the PL.
We just need to concentrate on what we do. If Man U take points off one of our rivals, then great, that makes our job easier.
They have lost less games than City in the PL this season but are light years behind us at the moment. But if I were to choose a team I didn't want near us at the half way stage of the season it would be them. They do have that history like ourselves that is hard to get away from.
Focus on us. Get 90 points and then see who has kept pace with us. With what we have I see us winning the next two PL titles. Or one PL and one CL.

Makes you wonder why we did fk all in the last 2 windows despite record profits. This is one player who I thought could interchange with Firmino in the 9 and 10 positions. It's not like Klopp didnt know https://www.sportbible.com/football/reac...n-game-20200707

Just a reminder City have lost 9 of the last 33 PL games.
Liverpool have lost 9 of the last 120.

So you feel nothing to worry about? Not while OGS is in charge, with the money Utd have they will always be contenders and can afford to waste money on players like Sanchez, Falcao & Di Maria to find the occasional nugget, they were always going to improve, so I do not see the big surprise? £70-80 million was the quoted price with add-ons, but depends what those add-ons are and if they will be met.
