I think we would be further ahead with the City owners, even SP would have been happy with a new stadium and it would have been easier to prove that we were worth the endorsement/advertising fees

i would rather have city owners. they wouldnt have needed to slash the cash quite as much so we wouldnt be called a club that just brought our way to success. our stadium would be bigger and the general infrastructure would be better.

had that been the case pretty sure by now we would be the biggest club in the world. People might say we bought success but is that not what modern football is? Plus also talk to any forest fan about Liverpool in the 1980'S they claim (with justification) we bought success. We did, dont see anyone complaining

Do you think if we had city's owners they would have brought Pep in instead of Klopp?

I think we would have more "success" by now definitely, perhaps a new stadium (not for me, swap Anfield for something shiny and soulless?).

I love this club the way it is, I love the fact that we have to go through some hardship to get out the other end, we havn't had much easy recently.. but that's the beauty of the success we are having now.. it's not taken for granted.

I loved the City project when it first started, it was really exciting to have a new big team on the block, but when I watched City thrash Watford 8-1? in the FA cup final all that excitement drained away, I turned off half way through. What I watched that day was not football it was something soulless, something which can't be killed, it was some horrible dystopian premonition of what football will be in the future when all the resources keep funneling up to the top.

I wouldn't swap what we have now for anything. City's owners can shove all their trophies up their arses for all I care.

I am happy where we are today, we have achieved our success by good management, we have spent big on players like VvD & Alisson, but this has not come from sugar daddy money, this has come from good business & trading by selling the likes of Coutinho for huge fee's and developing players.

If City's owners had took over, would we now have the likes of TAA & Robertson in our team? I doubt it, we would have some cut throat Italian or Spanish fullbacks for £50 million each who are only interested in their £££ and the next move.

FSG were also very clever/lucky to get Klopp, without him I doubt we would be where we are now.

I prefer where we are now, we know we earn't this and it was not easy.

City has been more successful than us including since FSG took over and we would have overtaken Manure on the number of titles won, if only for that I would prefer City owners.

But I prefer how we achieved our success, no doubt with City's scatter gun buying players we could have won more with allot of mercenaries at the club, but I prefer how we do our business and build a team.

City had to kiss a lot of frogs regarding managers and still have not got that elusive CL win they crave. Chelsea did the same thing year after year.

I don't think we have done anything like that.

I don’t think it’s in question that we’d have won more by now with City’s owners, most likely through financial doping (cheating) like they have.

I, like others, prefer how we’ve got where we are. That obviously doesn’t suit the FIFA generation but there you go.

Ok, for me the most important is to return to the top spot on number of league champion titles.
