I've never been a fan of John Terry but the way he threw himself in front of the Slovenian forward was nothing short of magnificent.

For me, his header that never was will go down in world cup history alongside Pele's goal that never was.

"Give your souls to your Gods and load your guns,
Its time to deal in lead.
We are the legions of the damned,
The army of the already dead...."

I thought he just fell over.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

He probably thought he saw someone's missus laying on the ground.

i've never read such rubbish in my life. this has got to be a wind up!

so jt throws himself in front of a shot,a ball which is more like one of those orange things you used to get from tesco 30 years ago. hardly an example of bravery is it?

i expect a player to do that every game,it's called giving 100%. just shows how little todays footballers try that the first time someone does something they should do....they are made a [oops] hero!
just goes to show how the english media constantly clutch at straws when attempting to make a hero out of a [oops]!

The guy is an over-rated numpty. England would do well to drop him from any further teams. Gives away so many needless fouls, and has too much 'player power'
