Manchester City banned from European club competitions for two seasons by Uefa after being found to have committed "serious breaches" of Uefa's club licensing and financial fair play regulations.

Just read that. Nuts if it’s upheld by CAS.

Wow, at last they have been tackled by UEFA.

I wonder what this means for Pep? also they won't be the same attraction for buying players if they have no CL.

Their next CL home game will be funny when they play the CL anthem !!!!

So they were cheating all along? The 100 point season and their last 2 title wins are more than slightly tarnished. Lucky for them that they are missing Europe for 2 seasons. Other clubs like Juventus, Rangers and Swindon were demoted for cheating. Whether it is match fixing or financial irregularities it is cheating.

If the PL does the decent thing they will strip City of the title they "won" last year.

Would love to see that smug kunt Vincent Kompany's face when that happens. And you have to think some of their players are going to have to be sold because they can't keep them on those wages now we all know the real source of the "income".

I'm not saying award us the title for last year but I am saying without the cheating we know where the title would have gone. 97 points deserves a medal and our players were cheated of that. Our fans were cheated out of the celebrations of a CL/PL double

Just like when Usain Bolt beat the drugs cheat at the Olympics it is probably more important we win as many games as we can now to wipe out the records set by that stain on the game which is Manchester City.

Fair play to UEFA for getting this right and handing out the ban.

City won the title fair and square on the field of play (unfortunately).

We should wish them good luck in their appeal against Seppp Blatters mates.

Watch them win an appeal to wipe this ban out and everything will be sweeped under a rug like nothing has happened.

Nothing that a few trips to the Sheikhs harems and complementary brown paper goody bags won't fix!

Were you not saying the same for EUFA a few months back? Anyway, very interesting to follow the court case and how proofs will be brought, dont know how hacked emails work in court. In fact, everybody knew about the scheme, I think City will have to prove how they were entitled to such sponsorship money given the notoriety of the club, especially a few years back, the years in question. Looks to me that proving that the deal was way above market value for a club like City is easier.

City won the titles on the pitch fair and square, but if everything was fair and square they would not have had that same team on the pitch, as they could not afford to assemble that team.

Exactly!

Will be very interesting to see where this leads.

Demotion to League 2?

20 points deduction in PL?

De Bruyne and Sterling signing for us?
