Always liked Milner and was glad when he came in. Hopefully he hangs around when he stops playing. A great example for the younger players.

For sure! His commitment is 2nd to none and he was a steal in terms of value over the last 5 years!

Apparently Milner also trained together with the U23:s the night before the game. He phoned Critchley in advance and asked if that was OK with him.

Was also in the changing room before kick off last night, to help and give some advice.

Lastly, we all saw him in the stands during the game - to give support and show them he was there to cheer them on.

What a man! smile

I love milner but he was receiving treatment for his injury so he was always gonna be around. He wasn't allowed to jet off to Miami or somewhere.

However it is great that he chose to stay at anfield on a cold night and support the team so personally.

He is such a likeable guy.

Milner's been brilliant for us, he can play any position and excell in it too. Obviously an outstanding player and an outstanding man as well. I hope he tays with us when he hangs up his boots.

He is the second youngest scorer when he scored at 16 for them, what a career, he's won everything in club football
