Would be hilarious if they went to Stamford Bridge and wiped the floor with Chelski.

Chelski away are a different proposition, but quite a few of that team deserve to feature in the next game, I'd certainly play the likes of Jones & Williams etc

Bournemouth are 2 days later, so some kids will probably play eiter then or against Chelsea. It won't likely be this team though.

Yeah, dependant on injuries the likes of Adrian, Matip, Lovren, Lallana, Keita, Shaq & Origi will play I expect, with a mixture of youth like Jones, Williams, Lewis & Elliott.

They would have every chance against Chelski.

I'd say any Liverpool team would have a good chance against Chelski! laugh

I put my hand up I was wrong and very happy to go through to the next round but I still don't understand why players who have been injured didn't play to make it more comfortable to advance. A stronger side is needed to beat Chelsea and keep our treble dream alive.

There's no reason we cannot play a stronger team in the next round, certainly with the squad players like Lovren, Matip, Lallana & Origi.

The question is did the team tonight play better because they regularly play together and are used to each other, drop a few of our squad players in and it could be more disruptive?

Honestly not sure as I skipped the game once I saw the team sheet but I did see the villa game and it was clear, these kids will struggle against premier league opponents so we have no choice but to play the senior players who don't get enough game time. We can play 2 or 3 youngsters but they need to be fully complimented by the seniors.
