Hello people. i'm knew to this so thought i'd say hello and as for babel, can we really judge a player who is played out of position. I hope roy speaks to the lad and ask's him where he wants to play. Then give him a try in that position for numerous games and if it doesn't work then it is time to let him go. If it does work then great for us fans. I personally see him as a striker. maybe play a 4-3-3 formation with torres one side, babel the other and kuyt in the middle (reason for kuyt is i think he is a six yard box player) not a winger.

I think babel should be give one more season and allowed to play in the position he wants to play in " striker ".
I have always been a huge critic of babel and i think if rafa would of still been here i would of wanted him out but now with roy here would like him to have one more chance. Under rafa babel could never settel i think due to him being played right, left and through the middle and never been giving a consistant run in the team in the one same position each game.
When we signed babel in his first press conferance he was asked his preffered position and immediately stated striker, with benitez then saying about him ( and benayoun) these are wingers, so from day one his preffered position ignored.
Lets give him one more chance he still young and could still demand a similar figure next summer if was to be sold on.

Get rid of him now and get a good price for him while we can. If he stays another season and doesn't improve then his valuation will obviously decrease.
