Its all a bit confusing this. Someone is telling porkies somewhere.

I trust Dunk though. He doesn't want to mislead anyone and has always posted what he is told in good faith. He never says that its true, just to make our own conclusions from it.

In Dunk we trust.

Yup and I've urged the club to sue me if I'm wrong. The club have been sending letters to various LFC sites of late threatening to sue so bring it.

Kenny backing the appointment of Hodgson Dunk.

I agree Dunk, You can imagine what Kenny is feeling at the moment, slightly bitter towards Mr Broughton because I felt he was quite arrogant in saying he was not considered.

We will see.. Kenny was in Istanbul, do not know the reasons why.

Dunk I know you have alot of people doubting stories, but Im not one of those, Im just seeing it from another point of view and another source. Your's are most likely more accurate than mine, but Ive been told in person, face to face, that Kenny will not leave the club.

If im right, sign me up LOL to be honest Kenny has to stay, we need him and I think every supporter will say that!

Kenny Dalglish says he's happy to be available to new Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson.

Dalglish is known to have been deeply disappointed at not getting the chance to step into the Anfield hotseat again.

But he told the Liverpool Echo: "The most important thing at the moment is for Roy to get on with the job in hand - and that's to get the first team organised.

"Let him get on with that and when he's got time we can sit down and have a chat.

"But it isn't about Kenny Dalglish, Roy Hodgson, Christian Purslow or the board.

"It's about the football club and this is a very important time for the club.

"There's no way that anyone should be looking at their own self interest - everything should be simply and purely for the benefit of the club."

The fact Dalglish is happy to wait until the time is right to discuss matters indicates the 59-year-old Kop hero is not about to walk out or create issues at a critical time for Hodgson and the club as the former Fulham boss settles into the biggest job in his life.

Dalglish, who has known Hodgson for many years and has enormous respect for him, added: "Roy has more important things to do and worry about than Kenny Dalglish.

"Just park me."

If he gave the above interview to the Liverpool Echo he couldn't have been in Istanbul, because that statement was on the 2nd July.

Kenny does back Roy but those quotes were taken previous to him walking off. Even if he was asked today, I'm sure he would still support Roy. The problem is, can the club get him back as he feels used.
