I don’t if anyone else has noticed but Charlie’s predictions on Sky would have us in the relegation zone if they all came through!!!! He is obviously an ABL!! Or else he is working on the premise that some day we won’t win and he will be the one who called it. Either way it’s funny to see him making a fool of himself week in week out!

What do you not understand Snakey? Charlie Nicholas makes premiership score predictions on Sky Sports and constantly predicts Liverpool to loose or draw and hasn’t been right all season(thank God) and I was just wondering was I the only one to notice this?

I always get the impression he doesn't like us as a club for some reason. I hate it when he is the one covering our game in the studio as he often comes across quite negative towards us.

It's obviously good for us, so let him continue!

To be fair, he predicted Spurs parking the bus and perhaps succeeding to a certain extent - enough to achieve a 1-1 draw. He was very close and would have spot on if that guy didn't miss that huge chance at the end.

Yes I always check both Lawro's and his Celebrity guest pickers and the Sky pundits predictions every week.

Last year they had Paul Merson this year it's Charlie Nicholas for Sky's predictions. Merson was fairly non-partisan but this year Charlie Nicholas has been atrocious with his predictions, opting with an astounding regularity for Arsenal wins and Liverpool draws or losses. Hopefully we obliterate "The Invincibles" 03/04 season of 26 wins, 12 draws and 0 losses to rub the bitter midget jock with his new-wave 80's haircut, nose in it!

If you put a flat cap and school uniform on Charlie he'd be a ringer for Jimmy Krankie!

Got ya! I never even waste my time reading someone's predictions, I know a lot of pundits do it but seriously who cares? Anyone can write up a bunch of numbers and say some mumbo jumbo to be controversial just to get some attention.

Most of them just talk absolute bollox. Le Tissier is usually ok apart from when it comes to Southampton. Poor old Merson is like a kid in a sweet shop and gets very excited. Last season he was saying in October City will win the title by double digits and kept saying it. It was as though every time they stuck 5 or 6 past someone they got 4 or 5 points for it.

If you want a bit of theatre you can't beat a bit of Chris Kamara or Alan McNally or even Iain Dowie at times. I think the reporters at the games are far better to listen to even if they have missed something or got it wrong.
