I was really shocked to see Milner start because against Sheffield he ran 13kms which is highest in that game, and as a result he pulls a muscle but injuries happen even if you play less, we have been lucky to be quiet honest because the spine of the team has stayed in tact, the midfield is the biggest area affected but thankfully that is where we have 7 or 8 options to choose from and as a result we have weathered the storm. We will have players returning soon to give us further options.

I think Klopp had already chosen the teams to play those 2 games except that Keita got injured in the warm up and replaced by Milner. Robertson was not starting in the Everton game, thus Milner was to play left back. I think Klopp didn't want to play Larouci but was forced to with Milner's injury. I think Larouci did ok, but can he be the cover for Robertson?

Looks like Fabinho, Shaquiri and Matip are back in training, according to Jack Sear at the Echo.

Great news they are back, especially Matip as he gives us quality CB cover, I expect Klopp will keep VvD & Gomez together for now.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp expects the injured duo of Dejan Lovren and Fabinho to return to full training next week.

It looks like Fabinho is doing light running already, but he is resuming full training next week.

Milner and Keita look like it will be after the United game at least, hopefully not longer.
