Do you reckon Babel should be sold to free up funds or should he be given a chance to prove himself? Personally, I would keep him because he's never been giving the chance to prove himself as he fell victim to Rafa's favouritism which also affected Pennant. I believe Hodgson will get the best out of him and he'll become potentially world class.

no he doesnt deserve a chance, from what i have seen in the last 2yrs his got very little talent. got a shiit 1st touch, cant dribble, has lots of speed but not with the ball at his feet. hasnt really got a good footballing brain either. pennant had more talent then babel. if we got 9-10m i would be over the moon. mayb buy turan with that money?

Babel should have gone in January. Poor footballer - speed to burn, and a helluva shot but surely the least talented Dutchman (bar Kromkamp) to play for their national team.

To me, Ryan has always been a bit of an enigma. He seems to have the makings of a dangerous forward, but I don't think he's a winger at all. He might possible just make it as an out and out striker, but if we got a good offer I think I'd prefer Drenthe.

We still have Albert Riera, who hss looked useful on occasions.

Give Rabel until January to see if he starts coming good under Hodgeheg. If not, bin him to the local charity shop without delay.

I think RH will want to work with Babel and see if he can get the full talent out of him - I see Babel staying for now. I think there's others RH will sell first to raise more funds.

i dont think RH will want to loose any players he's the kind of guy who wants to fix it rather than replace it hense the reason he got the job in the interview broughton said he was impressed with RH not even mentioning targets etc just what he wants to do with the exsisting players. which is why i have so much respect for him at this moment in time it takes a hell of a guy to come in and try and fix a team moral without any major changes!

I agree but Babel is too busy sulking when he plays, should correct that when given the oppurtunity to play.
Hopefully he will come good and prove a lot of people wrong, but I doubt it.

rafa preferred lucas, say's all you need to know really lol babel has talent but he doesnt use it in the right way most of the time but when he does he can bang 1 in from 25 yards and scare defenders
