I don't get it, why the obsession to sell players? I agree quality is needed in our team but we need a striker and a winger. We don't need a clearout where we end up selling better players than those we buy. We don't have an arab owner yet to buy a Silva,Boateng and Toure in a week.A change of strategy and priorities would do it..

A benitez work-horse with very limited ball skill. Bought as a striker and quickly found not to be good enough, so Benitez sticks him on the right to justify his price tag, then keeps him there because he valued hard work over any sort of flair or talent from a proper winger.

I think he was one of the best players on the night against brazil. its a shame he couldnt finish off his chance when he passed like 3 players and only the keeper to beat. Personally since we have a new manager i would defintly keep him, hodgson might put him in his forward role which he usually scores from.

Dirk gets a lot of un-fair stick on here. He is a lot better than Egnog for a start so if anyone gets sold it should be him first.

He was bought as a striker after having a very good record in Dutch football. I, personally, don't think he was ever given a real chance to settle as a striker as Benitez decided to play him out of position.

I would keep Kuyt. Play him up top where he probably wants to play. He may not be the most talented or fashionable player in the world (he may be the ugliest though:-)) but he is a very good, commited squad player who will give his all in every game.

I like Dirk. Nobody works harder than him for the team.
