The problem is not the loan, it is the lowball offer of 1.6million for the kid if he is a success.

If they had offered 15million after the 1 year loan on a perm deal with no opt out then FSG would pack his bags for him.

Also going on past sales of Solanke, Ibe, to Bouremouth then BD is worth at least 10million.

While I do disagree with FSG at times, I have to say they are correct in refusing to sanction a loan deal with 1.6million fee for one of our brightest talents.

yeah, after seeing the noncey comments and utter [oops] coming out of his agent on twitter, the very fact that this kid has this agent and is allowing him to speak for him is making me hope the club throw the book at him. He's got previous for doing this as well. Hope we make him rot in the reserves for the rest of his contract.

He needs to get a new agent, if he wants a move, which it looks like he does, other clubs will be loathe to touch him after comments like that.

Liverpool should sell him and just insert a decent sell on/buy back clause, it looks teams are trying to get him on the cheap, so Liverpool have every right to wait until a decent offer comes in, if the kid is doing it on the pitch, that will happen.

I don't get why he left City for us if this is his attitude? he knew he was joining a top club with 3 of the best forwards around, he signed a year ago, he's a local boy with links to the club, so I presumed that was his motivation, if he wants regular games he should have gone to a championship club and played on half the money he gets to be in Liverpool's academy learning from some of the best in the world.

Can't see many people hearing any more from Duncan. Not everyone is world class at 18. Sancho is doing what Neymar was doing.

The boy wants to play and sees too many players in ahead of him, so he wants out. Nothing wrong with that, were we unhappy when he joined us from City? For the future nobody really knows, I wish him all the best.

Sad thing is and not only with Duncan that kids think it has to happen today or not at all. They have no time to learn anymore. How long until Elliot which played for Fulham will be bored playing with u-23 and losing most of the games. He is watching James playing for Ole and scoring.
