I went to my first game on the kop in 1963 liverpool vs Coventry city. And I have been going to anfield every since apart from a short break in my motorbike era. Plus as well as that I am always right and know everything and anything

In my opinion

This is one of the best Liverpool sides in history equal to paisleys great side well maybe not quite but certainly equal to dalgishs side in the late 80's

Arsenal are a decent side but we demolished them yesterday the atmosphere at anfield was back to the glory days as well lots of singing and flags etc

I think the late 80's Dlaglish team was better, but must say I probably remember only the great moments and could not watch a lot of the games but only the highlights and the finals. I would say our midfield could still be improved a bit.

That said, in the modern game it's the squad of 17-18 players that wins you the title, whereas in the past about 14-15 players were enough.

I think this is probably the best liverpool side of all time. It's just a shame that the entire monetary might of Saudi Arabia is against us. Yes we can improve, particularly in the midfield areas. We could have a better number 8. And we could definitely have a stronger bench. I think that will come though within the next couple of years/transfer windows.

Not sure I’d say best ever as I haven’t seen all of the great sides we had but without a showdown of a doubt the best we’ve had in the premier league era. And as you say, if not for the financial might of City we’d be winning much more.

And all this without signing a player in the summer whistle

I would go on to say that Klopp is the best manager of the premier league era, in addition to this being our best EPL team of all time.

The best manager of the prem era has to be Ferguson by a mile

However I would bracket klopp alongside shankly and Paisley

Not yet definitely and Pep is better right now. If he wins the league then he would be getting there.

I doubt anyone will get close to Fergie in the Prem considering how long they were on top for. Pep's clearly a great manager but he still goes to the very best teams, despite making them better.

It's a great time to be Liverpool. If it weren't for the oil barons we'd literally be back on top of the perch and no-one would be looking close to us right now. 3 games in and it's looking like another 2 horse race.

We currently have one of the great Liverpool teams & managers, it is difficult to compare era's, allot of the great teams from the 70's & 80's couldn't play now with the current rules, imagine Souness with VAR smile

I agree, looks like a 2 horse race, I think Tottenham are our nearest rivals, but seems they have serious unrest and likelihood of players like Eriksen leaving/wanting out and being unhappy, was a strange post match interview with Poch.

We and City look capable of beating every other team, same as last season, so it will be tight, I think injuries will have a big impact, they look really reliant on Aguero for goals, so losing him would be huge for them, similar for us with VvD and the fullbacks.

Jesus can do a job there, he is a regular goal scorer, I think he gets in the Brazil team ahead of Firmino. And yes, injuries will impact, particularly us in front and VVD, because we have a thinner squad.
