There's an awful lot of lies and false hopes coming from this website nevermind the club to be honest.

One very good message from Broughton was the board will take the decision and no reasonable offer would be refused. So I think that removes any chance of Hicks demanding an above market offer. You have got Purslow and Broughton on the board if things got silly these guys would have to resign for their reputation and fudiciary duty. If it get silly they would have to. Thats a big card against Hicks who would be high and dry if that occurred. He would have the banks / financing to deal with and a potential huge capital loss as his options for future selling would be down the pan. My brain says this will happen now my heart says wait until its done and dusted before you get the tescos own brand sparkling out.

Dont forget Broughton is not only overseeing the sale of the club, he is also making sure it is done fairly & legally. if dont want to believe what he has said thats fair enough because he have been traumatised by gillett & hicks & are not sure who to trust. however this process has to be done & a timescale would have been set. prospective owners would have maade themselves known, barclays capital would look into them deeper & make sure there is no scumbags & then it seems around mid-july only parties who have been approved will be allowed to make a bid. they were quoting the end of the transfer window so im guessing barclays capital will have informed the parties that a decision will be made 6 weeks later.
