All this handwringing about Liverpool's lack of big transfer activity. Is it warranted? Have our rivals really strengthened to the point that we should be worried? Have a look at the final ins and outs... I think we'll be fine.
Arsenal -Marginally stronger? Unproven players, although they may turn out to be good. Luiz doesn't really make their defence stronger - and the've lost a lot of experience in Cech, Wellbeck and Ramsay.
In: Pepe, Tierney, Cebellos, Martinelli, Luiz?
Out: Ramsay, Cech, Wellbeck, Ospina, Koscielney, Jenkinson, Iwobi?
Chelsea - Weaker. Pulisic is an unknown quality - and losing Hazard is tough.
In: Kovacic, Pulisic (from last year)
Out: Hazard, Morata, Drinkwater, Luiz?
Everton - Possibly stronger but some gamble signings while losing promising players in Gueye and Lookman.
In: Gomez, Lossl, Delph, Gbamin, Kean, Sidibe, Iwobe?
Out: McCarthy, Gueye, Lookman, Jagielka, Williams
Man City - Debatable. Losing their captain and leader is huge - and Delph was a useful utility player. New signings are unproven.
In: Rodri, Angelino, Cancelo, Carson
Out: Kompany, Delph, Danilo
Man Utd - Weaker overall. Defence will be better but where will goals come from. Replacing Lukaku with Rashford plus a 17 year old kid is a big gamble.
In: James, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire
Out: Lukaku, Herrera, Valencia
Spurs - Slightly stronger but only because they kept Erikssen. Their big signings are unproven and Sessegnon has underwhelmed in the last year or two.
In: Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Ndombele, Clarke, Etete
Out: Trippier, Jansen, Vorm,
