i think we will struggle to get top four but may just do it by the skin of our teeth. very disappointing with the sh!t window we have had. hope it doesnt bite klopp in the arse. He will look very foolish if robertson, mane or salah get a long term injury
We will be challenging City, but they are a stronger squad, so I do not think top 4 is a problem, but City have improved bringing in a few quality players by all accounts, we have got rid of some dead wood and let some young squad players leave, so the players we already have will have improved from last season and a few coming back from long term injuries, but it does feel we have stood still and let our rivals strengthen and close the gap on us.
As you say, if we lose key players to injury, we are going to look very silly, just feels like a missed opportunity to push on by adding a few quality players to close the gap on City, and we are not talking £100's million to add them.
Klopp has been great for us, so I will wait and see how it pans out, hopefully he has seen enough from the squad to justify not bringing players in, I still believe it is his choice not to bring anyone in.
