I hope harry does well at Bouremouth but it does make you wonder about the window money grabbing from FSG.

So far they have made over 40million in transfers and loan deals out, yet we can only afford to sign a keeper on a free transfer and 2 young kids.

It really makes you wonder.

If Mane or Salah get injured we can no longer call upon Wilson, instead we just have Origi.

The problem that I see is that Mane, Salah and Firmino will not play every single game this season.

The cover we have is purely Origi.

Wilson will leave on loan.
Kent is being hawked around for 6 - 10 million.

And we have Brewster, who has never played a senior game unlike Wilson or Kent.

Even stranger are the rumours linking Lovren out of the club.


I am critical of FSG at the best of times but this is just how to run a club type madness.

Unless we pull a rabbit out of the hat with 2 days to spare.

And how many of us can honestly see that happening?

Klopp does like to try different shaped pegs in different shaped holes at times and it looks like that's what he'll be doing this season.

Lallana was used in a deeper role preseason rather than an advanced attacker or on wing.
Milner has been used in a variety of places.
Henderson has been moved further forward at times, has played the holding role, RB and Right Wing.
Fabinho has been used at CB, RB and his usual holding role.
Wij has been used at LB, holding role, Left Wing and CF.

It can be confusing and disjointed at times for players if others are played in a variety of positions.

Do Shaqiri and Ox not exist anymore? I agree it seems absurd to not be improving our depth, but lets not get carried away and just make things up.

People will laugh because of what he's done at Liverpool. But Wijnaldum was an amazing attacking winger at Feyenoord. He also played there for PSV sometimes. It's Klopp who turned him into a deeper midfielder.

Wilson didn't make the Charity Shield squad and won't get much game time here. The move to Bournemouth comes with assurances that he'll get game time as Brooks is out for 3 months. Bournemouth play a similar style so it'll be good for the player - and we get to keep him and see his development next summer.

Struggling to see how this is negative....
