lorenzo, I think its a good thing that some fans like you have a low expectation of roy, in fact it will work as a positive. If we brought in a big name everyone will think we must win all the time and lets face it, that wont happen. I think he's a great man for the job because of his motivational management. And about Gerrard, i gotta agree with u, cant see gerrard leaving now that we have a new manager.

Danny Murphy has played in the premiership basically all of his career, He has a enormous amount of experience, and personally i rate him higher than aqua and lucas.

I don't have low expection of the guy but i can't see for example eto going i want to join liverpool cause of roy it will be i want to join liverpool cause its liverpool.

But the state the club is in now not many will want to join, he will bring a number of good things as manager i just hope he has the balls to stand up for him self against the board(not be there puppet)

I am not sure on Jamie being captain as i don't think he will play every game. I expect him to play like sammy did at the end and only play some of the matches.

Players shouldnt really think about the money side of the club, They should think about playing in a liverpool shirt, one of the most prestigious accomplishments a player would do in his career.

Welcome Roy, Lets hope you keep SG & FT, and also bring a few players with you, Hangeland has already been linked with a move since last year, lets hope now that his manager has gone that give him an excuse to come and play for us. Another player i wouldnt mind seeing is Murphy, i think we got rid of him under the wrong circumstances.. Murphy was a very good player at anfield and still has a bit more to give, so come back to liverpool and finish your career here, where you belong.
