We need someone with his abilities, at the right price, I'd have him back too, even if it does mean swallowing my ire at his carry on when leaving. Klopp tried to sign Fekir as his replacement, but I think Coutinho would be the safer bet.

I'd take him for around the £60m mark.

Still prefer a striker and a CB though.

As we probably have not had all of the £146m or whatever it was and this is a clearance sale we should only be offering a clearance sale price.

£45m rising to £60m if we win PL or CL next season.

My favourite player but we have moved on by miles since he left.

I would take Coutinho back in a shot but only for 60million max.

Barca would probably try to get 1st refusal on VVD if Coutinho came back.

I also think fans would be on his back more than any other player if he had a bad game, purely on how he left us.

We have 8 midfielders and we only play 3 per game, I just don't see how he fits in especially with the way we play.

He wouldnt really be playing in midfield he'd be playing in rotation with the front three, mainly with mane on the left. Something we do need. We also need to stop thinking of our team in terms of the first 11 and start thinking about the quality of our squad. We're gonna be in a lot of games this season, competing on multiple fronts. Having another world class player wouldnt hurt.

He flopped in that position at Barca. He is not a striker and we need a striker so he is not a priority.
