Is it my imagination or has the takeover stuff all gone quiet ? I hear from different people that 15/07 will see a change of hands at the ownership level, but why then appoint Roy ? Surely a rich club can afford much better.

Have a feeling that this is qthe quite before the storm. Any thoughts?

Think of it this way Saigo:

Your buying a car, but it is missing its wheels,(Staff, Manager etc) The current owner still wants full price for the car even though its missing parts... Would you buy it?

Personally i think that appointing a manager is a good things, Makes the club "Look" Healthy from the outside.

Thanks Adam. :-) Well, i get the feeling that it is the quiet for the storm as it were. At least I am hoping that this is the case. Hicks won't get his skyscraper price for the club am sure of that and with the banks breathing down his neck, hopefully the takeover will happen sooner than later.

I have heard from different sources through email that the takeover is in advanced stages, but although these different sources all point to 15th July, I am not holding my breath. Am glad the manager situation is sorted.

Now hopefully the couple of crooks will be crocked. :-)

I think the 15th July Rumour is just that, a Rumour...

Wont be devastated if i wake up on the 15th and nothing, but also will hold my hands up if i am wrong

He wont get his price and he knows it,does this seem like a man desperate to sell?The banks have yet again extended the timeline which should tell you that everyone is happy with the current arrangement,and if you have heard that a deal is in an advanced stage then why would they waste their own money on a new manager?

We have been lookin for a manager for a month, Hicks have over $1Billion in investors, the odd million is spare change to hicks..

Really?why then did they not match Barrys asking price or Simaos?They were only the odd million out.
They stand to make more out of this club by lowering the debts and then selling it on in a few years time,hence the stupid asking price but by that time who knows what damage would have been done.
