The way I see it, doing anything is better than doing nothing...

I think it is a good idea re publicity stunt which will get bad press for RBS. But somebody needs to do it and the national press need to run with it. Pity those guys at the protest at anfild the other week did not burn the RBS flag instead of the American which became political and shot them in the foot.

As no doubt you will be getting many emails from loyal Liverpool fans pleading for you assitance in gettin Tom Hicks and George Gillett out of Liverpool football Club.

I have no doubt you know about the long and proud tradition and history the football club has and have been a household name around the world when regarding football.

This is one of many damaging reports on Tom Hicks, he doesn't want to sell Sir he would rather see this great club go bankrupt.

Please Sir, please help the millions of fans around the world and force these men out of the club once and for all, they are destroying this great club and the good name of football itself.

Very polite pointing out the damage it would do his business supporting these clowns as LFC fans will hold RBS responsible.

Be reasonable!!! Your reputation doesn't cost only 60 - 70 m."

may be it's not 100% grammatically right but i hope they are smart enough to get it!

i sent this email to rbs chairman dont know if it will do any good but hopefully if we keep the presure up it might do something!!

Dear Philp,
I am writing this email as i cannot put up with your banks loyaltys anymore. Your bank is causing enormose stress to my family and I due to your lack of resect to every liverpool supporter accross the world. We feel left down and hurt by your banks preference to gain as much profit from liverpool football club while you also leave its current unwelcome owners to bleed our club dry whilst knowingly having the power to force a sale to a more responsible client! This to me and millions of other liverpool supporters who have accounts with your bank shows a total lack of respect from yourself and your bank. This has forced my family and i to give an utimatum. That the loan the current owners have is not extended and that you force a sale through by the end of the month or all my family and myself are closing our accounts with your bank. It is a sorry state when your bank puts preference to the greed of two corrupt american business men above millions of loyal customers.

Be aware that he will have a spam filter set up so once you've sent an email they will add your email addy to this. All susequent emails may be ignored. So therefore go on to hotmail or googlemail etc and set up loads of email accounts to hit them with.

I've closed my account btw with them and told them why.
