£15m then add in his 100k + plus wages a week over 4-5 years and it is a lot more expensive. You could have another Sturridge scenario.

This gives background on the injuries he had

If there is a big chance that he will break down within his contract they I'd say that is why we are out. Better off spending money on another player

Who else could we get as good as him for £15m? We could spend 4 times that and have a Sturridge on our hands. £15m is a gamble worth taking for me.

Rumour has it - he gonna sign in the next week, someone claimed medical today, also he agreed number 18 shirt... We want to deal at 30m euro's but lyon holding for nearer 50m..

Apparently, last season the knee problem was being exploited, we tried to renegotiate the price, the knee was the daily paper excuse..

He had a mixed season last year, by all accounts he (Fekhir), was really up for joining us, maybe why his season was a bit up and down..

Looking forward to seeing him in the environment he appears to really want to be in..

15m is BS unless he only wants to come to us, which I doubt

It was never 15mil. It was a spurious quote of a French pundit who said "something like 15m"

Then it was published everywhere that he's available for 15mil.

It's strange no one else wants him, I know Chelsea were rumoured last year, but you think after we pulled out last year, the message is out there that Lyon would sell and Fekir wanted to move, so you would think they would have got more interest/offers.

The £15 million price sounds very low, but he's going into the last year of his contract, so I am sure we can meet them somewhere between that and the original £50 million.

None of us truly know why the deal collapsed last year, so I trust Klopp and the team to buy who they need.

Ecnirp, it looks similar to the VVD deal, he wanted us - we wanted him, took time but happened and the rest they say is history..

As stated the rumour is we changed the finance at the last moment, the knee was an excuse for all parties for the media...

Apparently he was all packed to join us..
