Seems he’s not happy at Spurs and wants out with a year remaining on his current contract. He was a player we courted before he went to Spurs and he would offer us the midfield creativity we are missing...we should try a cheeky bid for him!
Thoughts?

I think for the price Levy would want, we'd be better off going elsewhere.
Good player but there's better value out there.

He's only 27 coming into his peak with a year left on his contract, Levy really can't stop the inevitable or lose him for free next year! He can sign a pre-contract with any club in January.

I'd take him in a heartbeat but there'd be interest from abroad, esp given his short contract, so Spurs will do everything they can to sell him outside the PL.
He'll probably go to Juve next summer... they love their freebies.

I would buy him. He's a clever player, two footed, and creative. Boss freekicks too, and knows the league.

We could always try using some players to entice them...I suggest the LOL combination - Lovren, Ojo, Lallana

Christian Eriksen's true value to Spurs and how much Real Madrid transfer would cost them
The Denmark international has been closely linked to Real Madrid
By Scott Trotter - 5 JUN 2019
Christian Eriksen has admitted that he has his eyes on a move away from Tottenham Hotspur and it should come as no surprise that his presence could be one Mauricio Pochettino will miss.
The Denmark international has long been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid and Eriksen has even acknowledged that it will take a certain type of club for him to depart London.
When broached on the topic of Los Blancos the 27-year-old was fairly matter of fact about the prospect.
"It's a step up. But it requires Real Madrid to call Tottenham and say they want Christian. And they have not done so yet, as far as I know," he said. "It is hard. It depends on the possibilities.
"If nothing pops up that is more exciting, why not stay in Tottenham? If I then sign a new contract, depends on the conditions."
While at times Eriksen has appeared inconsistent for the Lilywhites there's no doubt that during his time in North London he has had an invaluable impact.
OptaJoe provided some stats that showed just what the midfielder has offered Pochettino on the pitch since debuting in Premier League's 2013/14 season.
Eriksen ranks first in the competition during that time for chances created, 547, assists, 60, goals from outside the box, 22, and direct free-kick goals, 7.
The Spurs maestro has also provided 49 goals in all, in the Premier League and made 35 appearances or more in each season other than his first as he proved himself to be a crucial cog in the development of Tottenham that allowed them to reach this year's Champions League final.
His departure would not just cost them a valuable player, but one of the best players in the league statistically.

Can’t see us going for him or spurs going close to selling to us.

I was devestated when we didn't sign him the year Spurs did. At the time we were still chasing monkeys with peanuts under the ridiculous moneyball lark, so it was never going to happen. When I first saw him as a youth player, I thought he'd be brilliant, and while he faltered a little at first, he has developed into a class player, and I think he'd develop further under Klopp. However I fear we missed our chance, and I just can't see it happening now sadly.
