Calm down calm down
The Club will be sold, it may take slightly longer than we had hoped but Liverpool will be back in the Pinnacle of European soccer any investor can see that

Hi this is my first comment on this forum ive been reading it for a while and i must say all though roys record was not superb at rovers and fulham lets face it he didnt have players of the calibre of stevie nando and carra (if he can convince them to stay) im optimistic we have less to worry about than people are currentely speculating and if his transfer budget is only 15 million if he sells mascherano wich i feel is ineviteble if he only recieves half of what we get for him he will have a minimum transfer budget of 30 million pound and thats if you exclude the sales of yossi and other fringe players i honestly think with the signing of a few hard working players not world beaters but honest hard workers we will be back contending for titles sooner than most of us anticipate

It makes me laugh the way people think that Roys Win ratio is poor. Look at the teams he has been at in the prem... Blackburn and Fulham...

You seriously think that he is going to have a 90% winning ratio with these teams? because if you do, you clearly know fudge all about football.

When he has a 45% winning ratio at fulham and comes runner up in the Euro Cup with a team that struggles to secure top half finishes every season... Think about it logically, Fulham Fight for Top Half Finish, Half the teams they play are better or on the same level as them, The likes of us, Chelsea, Man u, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City, Tottenham we arew the type of teams that are expected to win against fulham, the teams that fulham should be winning are the likes of Burnley, West brom, Newcastle, Wigan, Wolves.. You get the point, Everyone else like Everton, Bolton, Blackburn, Sunderland... These are the kind of teams that challenge Fulham..

So to say that he has a poor win ratio at fulham is a joke, they finished 12th last season Just to prove my point about a fight for top half finish...

In the 2007/2008 season they nearly got relegated, Goal difference kept them up... Redaing being on -25, Fulham being on -22 both on 36 points...

In the Following (2008/2009) Season, Fulham finished 7th with a Goal difference of +5, The same season when Newcastle and West brom got relegated...

The 2009/2010 Season, The reason People are doubting Hodgeson, Finished the last season in 7th, Dropped to 12th, 5 places difference compared to the previous season, But let me just point something out... Liverpool Finished 2nd in the 08/09 season, dropped 5 places to 7th.

And if you havnt already noticed the pattern... Hodgeson had a relegation battle (bottom half), then finished top half, then finished bottom half, see what im getting at? he has a Bad season, Then a fantastic turn around and get fulham from potential relegation battle team to a potential Candidate for European Football, And he got that.. Coming second beating the likes Of Italian Giants Juventus (5-4 AGG), Germany Title Challegers Wolfsburg (3-1 AGG), Hamburger SV in the Semi Final (2-1 AGG) And then finally Losing to At.Madrid in extra time after Forlan got a second goal in the 116th minute, ending fulhams dreams.

But seriously, Fulham, top half challengers or At.Madrid, contenders for the Spanish League every season, With players like Forlan, Aguero, Simao, Reyes, You sort of expect them to win, But look at who took them to extra time and in the dieing mins conceded a goal? Fulham got medals this season, What did Liverpool get? Slated is the word you should be looking for...

So to end my Post i kindly ask anyone saying they are not happy about hodgeson becoming manager to shut up about Facts and stats and look what he has done for the club instead of win ratio's based on clubs that have been close to relegation compared to clubs that are amongst the best in the world.

Good Luck & Welcome To Liverpool FC, Roy Hodgeson.

i totally agree you cant expect roy hodgson to have a much higher win ratio than what he had at fulham because they just could not compete with the top sides in the prem financially and i believe he performed miracles at that club last season and lets face it if the cowboys are still at the helm next season we may need a few miracles of our own next season
