Have you noticed that we have been looking for a striker for a while now.

Someone to offer that ever elusive plan B.

Liverpool have scouted Israel striker Munas Dabbur a lot in the last year when he played at red bull Salzburg and also at Sevilla.

Have you also noticed that there seems to be a story almost every other week about Salah arguing with Klopp (bullsheet) and how he wants to leave. Or handed in a transfer request. Loads of rubbish rumours. It is supposedly because of our interest in Dabbur.

He has said publicly that he wouldn't ever play with or next to or for anyone Israeli.

He refuses to acknowledge their existence and refused to shake hands with any of the Israel players when Egypt player Israel.

For someone of a faith which pleads acceptance and seeing him be the subject of racial abuse from Chelsea fans, i find it incredible that he can be just as ignorant as the rest of them.

There is a reason behind it, go do your research and see how Israeli's are treating muslims in their own country nonetheless. I would also be ashamed if we signed such a player.

You’re assuming that this player supports the regime there and agrees with what they do and happens to Muslims in Israel. We’re you ashamed when we signed Yossi?

That player is actually a Muslim but has Israeli citizenship so yes I would assume he agrees with what's going on. With Yossi I actually liked him and quality as a footballer but I also didn't have much knowledge back then about what's going on.

Salah has every right to be unhappy as he sees that player as a traitor but of course this is all rumours so we will never know but that's how a I see it.

And to think that the beautiful game is supposed to bring us all together? No one person should have the right to call the shots on any acquisitions because of their beliefs. In this twisted messed up world we live in, football should be a bridge not an anchor!

I'm not gonna pretend to know or care about religion.

Every religion has it's flaws, it isn't supposed to be a discussion about religion either as it's never gonna end well.

I was just surprised by Salah's attitude towards Israel.

I'm surprised blatant racism is allowed in football considering how vocal players are about the fans being racist.

So even Israeli Muslims agree with the violence towards Muslims?

If a black player refused a handshake from a white South African during the Apartheid years, I don't think anyone would bat an eye.

It has nothing to do with faith. He's had no problem with Sturridge for example, who is an outspoken christian. It's about the fact that Israel has committed and is committing war crimes and is still seizing land from the Palestinians. They're bulldozing houses, shooting protesters and have created and apartheid state.

Well that's obviously pretty f**king awful but I don't think it's Munas Dabbur walking round with a gun.

I don't think it's any of the Israeli national team on the front line actually.

I guess people see it differently. Which is why we are a forum to discuss things.

Don't want this to get all hooked up on religion as it's a dangerous one to discuss.

Let's leave it and talk football instead.

He has a decent left foot that lad.
