Is nothing to do with him??? He is the guy that put the right people in place, the structure in place. It took him a while but he did it. He also did it at the red sox.

If you think think that our success has nothing to do with him. I suggest you go look at how the owners of Utd are running their club.

He did one thing right after a long time...appointing klopp. The fact Manchester United are having troubles does not justify the screw ups by Henry

So he did not appoint Michael Edwards?

Henry is a very good businessman but the benefit of that is for himself. He was taken a global club put the minimum investment and gaining the maximum value. He will make a huge amount of money out of the club. But when he goes the club will be left with an old decrepit stadium and the need for vast investment in infrastructure. But john Henry will have done very well so that makes it ok

Change the record Stan. We just beat one of our rivals who have a shiny new stadium. How much has it helped them with not signing a player for two windows now?

So you are worried about how much money John Henry has made and how much penny pinching he has done. We are Champions of europe and with the best team we have had in years. I've never been so excited about where we are heading.

I could not give a damn what he earns. What I do care about is where we are right now are we are headed.

He was on the platform with the dignitaries, so the players walked past him to get medals.

Probably not going to be a popular opinion here, but I'm glad For him & FSG, they have managed the club well and backed Klopp. We have improved as a business, they have stuck at it when other owners might have been happy to get top 4, but they gave Klopp the money for Alisson, Fab & VvD which pushed us to the next level.

When you look at the state of the club when FSG took us over, we were on the verge of going into administration, our best players had left/wanted to leave, so to bring in Klopp and get us challenging for PL and make us CL winners again is a great achievement.

Hopefully seeing the fans and the success will drive FSG on to bigger and better things with us, seeing the parade today, hopefully they realise that getting the Anfield Road end rebuilt would mean more fans getting in the ground and more revenue, we have the fan base to support 62,000 fans (I believe that was the possible size after upgrade).

He was there last year as well giving the medals, you are probably saying he should have left after giving the medals, right? But it is his club after all.

I was happy John Henry was there, he deserves it after yje previous 3 defeats in finals, he brought Klopp in and has backed him, so I have no problem with him enjoying it with the players, his money has helped bankroll it as I said.

The more involvement he has and see's the fans reaction, like the bus tour, will hopefully help him realise that there is still huge potential to improve the team/ground to take us to the next level.

Why the hell would anyone have a problem with the owner being there?

surely we would be concerned if he wasnt there. The biggest day of the season and the highlight of European football and your owners are on the other side of the pond.

its crazy how some people go around looking for theings to moan at

ps henry should come to ALL of the games and even ALL of the training sessions if it means he brings linda along

It's good to see The Owners at The Final however they really ought to make more time to come to the bread and butter games throughout the season.

I was appalled when John & Linda took a jolly to watch Barcelona play in Feb 17 and didn't bother to stop off in Liverpool. It was around about the time when the stories about Barca wanting Coutinho were ramping up. Many folks thought a deal was being struck then.

If FSG want to have most fans on their side then they should make the effort to actually look ar*sed by turning up to the boring games and not just the big ones!

An old decrepit stadium but with 55k seats and I am sure more than 60k rather sooner than later, same as Arsenal and Spurs, second to United only. In the meantime both Arsenal and Spurs, especially the latter cannot spend on players. What's the use of a new shiny stadium if we end up in the mid table? And I better not talk about the atmosphere which everybody says is unique, it's not by chance that we seem to play incredible at Anfield like beating Barca.

I didn’t mention it to moan per se. I fully agree that he should be more visible but I was just wondering about him being on the podium for the celebrations. I don’t recall seeing many owners doing that after their teams have won? Or maybe they have and I didn’t recognise them?

Anyway, wasn’t a dig at him really. I’ve nothing against him or FSG and personally think they’ve been great for us.

Totally agree Tired early goal and then it was a case try and beat us if you can... It therefore made us compact and no gaps as such to exploit
