UEFA Champions League - Final
Liverpool v Spurs
8:00pm Saturday 1st June
Wanda Metropolitano, Madrid

It's here, the BIG ONE!

So time for team line up and score predictions?

Alisson

TAA Matip VVD Robbo

Milner Fabinho

Henderson

Salah Bobby Mane

The Big call for Klopp is either Milner or Wij to start and I just think Klopp will look at our last game in the Competition @Anfield v Barcelona. In the first half Milner, Fab and Hendo really set the tempo, they got at Barcelona early and really ran at them. Setting the tempo from the off is going to be vital here, we don't want Spurs to boss things from the off. If we get at Spurs and have them under the cosh I think the occasion will get to them and we can make for a comfortable evening.

Having Salah and Bobby back is great news because I want to see us atone for the defeat in last years Final. Shaq and Origi, no disrespect to them but they shouldn't even be thought as starters here.

After what he did in the semi final, I think Wij deserves a start tonight so I’d play him ahead of Milner.

Bring Milner on later in the game if we need his experience to hold onto a lead.

Wij starts ahead of Milner. I'm so nervous.

My Team:

Alisson

TAA Matip VVD Robbo

Wij Fabinho

Henderson

Salah Bobby Mane

I'd start with Wij, Milner can come on from the bench when required, defo bring him on to either calm it down if we are leading or for his nouse if we are drawing/losing, either way his experience is invaluable. Also, if we bring him on later, say 60 mins, he will last the game if we goto extra time, especially if it go's to penalties, as he is our top penalty taker so we need him on the pitch then to take 1 and calm the guys down, his experience will be key.

3-1 win for us.

Yeah the only question is the midfield trio. Given its an away game I'd prefer Milner, but as some allude he could be useful if it goes to penalties, so over to Klopp.

Wjinaldum has to play after those two goals against Barca. Would be massively unfair.

Milner is pretty much the perfect sub too. Can fill in at either fullback and any of the midfield 3.

I wouldn't like to predict this one.

On the one hand, we're so settled with a clear sense of unity and purpose in the squad. Our experience from last season should help too, as should our league performance of course. I don't sense much nervousness. There seems to be a focussed, collective determination to come out on top this time after what happened last season.

On the other hand, some of that gives an advantage to Spurs. They'll know more about how we're likey to set up and play then we'll know about them. They could spring a surprise as to how they approach the game. They also have a variety of impact players in Kane, Son, Moura, Delle Ali and Eriksen. They can also change their style of attack with Llorente. The first 15-20 mins will be very interesting to see what kind of tone is set.

In addition. It's a one off final ... so anything could happen!

Yikes!! sick smile

Pretty much my feeling there mighty. People will say we’re favourites and should win but anything can happen in a one off game and for me we’ve not been good in one off games.

Favourites alright.

I think we're gonna have to invest in the dark arts little to change our fortune in finals. We have to be the men here, let spurs be the boys. That's maybe why milner off the bench might be a good idea. Mo also has to step up, no early dives, same hunger as the barca game from everyone. Hopefully spurs will get suffocated.

No dives at all I hope! Play hard, play fair, and don't try and pass when't the better option!

Your mentione of diving has worried me though... hope the ref looks out for Kane, Delle Ali etc. Will be horrible if the game is settled on a controversial call.
