What are you even talking about? This hip hip hooray thing? All I’m saying is that I don’t think we bottled it and those who do I think are wrong. Nothing more. Nothing less. You’re the one who can’t seem to accept this so start throwing your tiresome muck around.

We had a lull but so did they. It's 97 points. You don't bottles a season in the middle. It's 38 games. The only way you bottle it is if you're top on the last day or with a few games to go and you falter. We didn't do that at all. We did at crystanbul but no way did we do it this year

To go to the orginal post I never gave up even on the last day of the season and when Brighton scored I thought something amazing might happen but it was not to be.

Firstly great pointless argument just regretting I was not involved I would have give as good as I got
To go to the orginal post I never gave up even on the last day of the season and when Brighton scored I thought something amazing might happen but it was not to be. Yeah we were all on that one to varying degrees. I always thought Brighton needed a quick 2nd goal and have City reduced to 10 men before feeling really confident.

For me the game at Etihaad when we went from a 7 to a 4 point lead was what changed the momentum going into the final stage of the season.
The draw against Manure first, and then Everton - the last points we dropped - sealed our fate.
No one seemed to believe either of us and City would go all clean through the last 9 games - but we both did.
Amazing.
We didn't bottle anything - we just dropped some unnecessary points, that turned out to be decisive in the end.

I guess we learn from this, when pundits/journalists say they will drop points etc, which was the usually the case, we know now that is not necessarily the case anymore, so you cannot expect that. I wonder if Klopp will be abit more attacking now in some of the big games, like Man Utd/Everton away etc, where I think we were abit more conservative as he knew we were not in great form at the time, so a draw was seen as a good result, in hindsight dropping those points when we could have gone for the win (particularly Utd away game with their injuries) cost us the PL title.

Yep, not pushing for a win against a bruised United cost us the league. Don't know If it was the tactics or the players, but experience of the run should help going forward.
