Sane plays mainly left sided for City, but I think he could play well through the middle, and as people have said, Klopp does like a left footer on the right sometimes, the front have allot of freedom to move/rotate/interlink, so it's not like they are stuck to their positions like traditional wingers.
I just think Sane is a quality player, with his pace, power and goal scoring, so he'd be ideal for our attack. I do not really see us needing cover for the front 3, more a regular player, so it's 3 of out of 4 who play, we need to have no drop in quality/effectiveness, with all the games we will play next season, suspensions and injuries, we need 4 quality starters for them 3 places.
Another good player is Mahrez, he can't be happy sat on the bench getting 15 games a season from the bench, I know he's on big money, but he would be at any club who bought him. Hopefully players are looking at City and thinking twice about joining their bench !

Lots of rumours Sane may leave City in the summer, he'd be a great buy for us, has pace, skill and can finish, fits the FSG mould, he could play in MF or in the front 3, lots of PL experience.
I doubt City would sell to us, but worth a go. He is very left footed to will fit in Klopps right wing where we already have 2 candidates. We rather need cover/rotation for Firmino and Mane, so not really the profile. Sane a right winger? Lol Where does Salah play? Klopp plays left footed players on the right wing (Salah) and right footed players (Mane, who was actually moved on the left by Klopp) on the left. You must have noticed that if you watch our games. So if ever Sane was to come, his position in Klopp's team would be on the right. Lol Never mind where Klopp plays his players. Sane is a left winger and has never played right so he would be cover for Mane if we ever brought him.

Looks like Zaha has asked for a move: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/...-leave-the-clubHe is available and would be good for our front 3, lots of PL experience, fast, scores goals and is creative, there are not many better we could get, he's 26 so would fit into FSG profile, I also think he would improve under Klopp, whenever we played CP he is very dangerous. I think he would be a good buy, I know he went to Man Utd and struggled, but he was very young and joined at the end of the Fergy era, so struggled under Moyes & LvG.

I think he has the ability to play across the line, he's a clever player, so would interlink well. As most have said, I doubt we could get him from City anyways.

Dont think he fits Klopp's system on the left. Btw, where was Mane playing before that Klopp put him on the left wing, did he ever played left winger before?

Really like him, except don't know if he will be good in the middle. However, 80m looks on the high side.

Yep 80m is insane, even anything near 60m is too much. There's plenty of talent abroad who we can get at a fraction of the cost.

No way,can't stand the fella.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Can't see him going for £80 million, especially as he's asked to leave, that will reduce his value, I can see him going for around £60 million.
Anyone with with the quality to join/replace our front 3 will cost allot, I think it is key we bring someone in who can do that this summer.
