Well don't want to rub salt into thewound, but our Blue neighbours were the last team we dropped points against.

So they're the ones that prevented us from winning the title. frown

Doesn't feel good we let that 7 points gap slip either.

We are also the team that lead at Christmas and blew the title. For the 3:rd time (08/09, 13/14 and 18/19). No team has ever managed that even 1 time. We've just taken the treble! frown

Apart from that a great season. Now we just have to end it with a trophy!

Up the f*cking Reds! smile

I think that works against European teams that maybe aren't as fit as our team or aren't used to the fast pace. But againt the top premiership teams, i.e. Spurs and City, that approach is easier said than done.

Spurs can be just as savage and intense as us. In Eriksen, Delli Ali, Kane, Song, Moura and Lorrente they have a very potent attack. We're going to have to be on top of our game and put in one of our best performance. Salah will need to be clinical up front - either in his finishing or making sure he choses the right option in terms of a pass or a shot.

Tottenham also have some big decisions to make, do the play Kane if he's fit? he's been out nearly 2 months by June 1st CL game and will be nowhere near matchfit, that would also mean maybe leaving out Moura who got them to the final.

The winner of this game could be the team that gets their preparation right, after 3 weeks of no competitive games, it is difficult to hit the ground running, who ever does that will have the edge, as this is likely to be played at a fast PL pace.

Usually we are slow and sleepy after one of these holidays in the sun.

Heard we're going to Mallorca or Marbella! Doesn't sit well with me that!

But I guess Spuds will have the same problem with using the time in the right way.

Will be interesting to see how this pans out in the end.

Nothing wrong with training in the same conditions as where they will be playing.

Exactly what I was thinking. Next 3 weeks the players will be kept ticking over. Would imagine a short rest period followed by intense preparation.

Yes.

First 5 days off, and then back to Melwood.

After that a training camp in one of those places mentioned above.

Then back to Melwood again, and then off to Madrid 2 days before the final.

That's what I read was Kloppo's plan.

Hope it bears fruit this time around.

At least we have experience of this after last year CL final, so hopefully our team know what worked/did not work last season, for Tottenham this is all new.
