Lawro's Premier League prediction v golfer Tommy Fleetwood  We already know what Newcastle are like, and how difficult they make it when they face the top sides. When people talk about teams being organised, Newcastle are on that list and that is because they are a well-coached team and Benitez is an extremely good coach. It is as if every player on all of his teams has always known exactly what their role is, and what is expected of them. So this will be a tough game for Liverpool, because they will have to break Newcastle down. It might actually help that they lost 3-0 to Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, because it means they won't have one eye on Tuesday's second leg any more. It is not as if they got a 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp and will be thinking 'we've got a fantastic chance'. They will know they are outsiders in that tie now, and they have to focus fully on the Premier League, where any slip by Manchester City will let them in. Lawro's prediction: 0-2

Newcastle will make it a long night for them, they're used to being tight, they don't have to entertain, their fans know what they're like, they'll make it hard and it'll be a tough one. Paul Merson Prediction:
Manchester City vs Leicester (Monday, live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event from 7pm; kick-off at 8pm)
Never say never here. I've seen this Leicester team play and they're a decent team. Manchester City will have a go, and they've got the ammunition to hurt them on the break with Vardy's pace. They wiped the floor with Arsenal last week. They're not used to having the ball but Brendan Rodgers has got them looking like a real good team.
I'm not saying they're going to win, but if you were Liverpool and you had to pick someone for City to play outside the top boys, who didn't have much to play for, you'd pick them. City looked nervous against Burnley, but the longer it's 0-0 or 1-0 here, you never know.
PAUL PREDICTS: 2-0

Man City v Leicester (20:00 BST)
Any other time of the season, I am sure Manchester City's players would be 100% confident of winning this game but because the title is so close, and because Leicester have a decent record against them, they might have a few doubts.
Leicester have certainly got the players to hurt Manchester City, and they did that when they beat them at the King Power Stadium in December.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers seems to be getting the best out of people such as Jamie Vardy and Kasper Schmeichel too, and we saw that the team are playing for him in their win over Arsenal last weekend.
But Manchester City will be ready for them after their week off and they will know they are three wins away from a domestic treble.
I have been at each of their past three games and they have been able to step things up in the second half if needed. I am sure they will do that again if they have to.

Ok, so no Keita who is out for 2 months with a ruptured muscle.
Also Klopp doesn't sound too bullish about Firmino's chances at Newcastle, so I'm predicting he won't start and it's likely he won't even be on the bench because he was straight down the tunnel at The Nou Camp Final whistle, which would indicate he's still carrying the muscle tear problem. Klopp will probably try to give Bobby as much rest as possible and see if he's OK for the return leg on Tuesday.
With Klopp's mindset it's difficult to predict his thoughts after the team he selected last Wednesday evening. I'm guessing he's looking to give a breather to one or 2 players, which is the wrong thing to do!
I'm predicting he brings Milner in at LB to give Robbo a rest and Lovren in at CB in place of Matip. We should see TAA back at RB meaning Gomez drops to the bench. Up top in Bobby's absence he'll likely go for Origi, but again for me wrong thing to do...he should play Salah in the centre and bring Shaqiri into the right side in Salah's normal place. We should get to see Ox at some stage with a 20 or 30 minute cameo, later on.
With 2 vital PL games to go we shouldn't be tinkering with our best, tried and tested formula unless there is an injury. Even the most optimistic fan can understand the Barcelona 2nd leg is a bridge too far!

It's always difficult to predict Klopp's lineups, and at this stage of the season, what with niggles, injuries and exhaustion, one would need to be present at training to know who is better placed to start. Having said that though I'd personally go with your selection there Pickles, given what we do know from a distance. Of course it's a must win, and on paper we should win, but Newcastle will make it as hard as possible with a stubborn defensive unit. I predict: 0 - 1

I would just swap Wij for Milner, since it's an away game.
Better to start Wij on Tuesday at Anfield imo.

Great win, everything seemed to be going against us, losing Bobby & Salah, we showed great strength and bottle to get that win, pressure now om City, come on Brendan!

Lovren looked a complete liability out there tonight. As a 4th choice CB he’s ok, but shouldn’t be playing in such important games unless we have no other fit CBs
