After the long awaited return of the Ox - which is brilliant for everyone at the club, when the Ox came onto the pitch to a roar, long has he been missed..

It appeared to me almost instantly, at least my opinion anyways - that Mo looked exactly like he did last season.. pretty much this season some have pointed out Mo not as enthused? or excited as last season in his demeanour - Mo is still brill but not the Champagne best as mentioned last season...

Mo as soon as OC came on to me was sparkling in his demeanour, his runs were more determined, more exciting if I dare say it.. Yes you could argue Mo found more space as the game wore on... I saw two players that appear to naturally bounce off each other when they play together - obvs they look mates as well..

Anyone else see this in the few minutes both on the pitch together?

I did

Ox is a brilliant player a players, player and you can see how much he is respected by the other players and manager. Had Ox been playing in the champions league final last season I think we would have won.

When we signed him I was underwhelmed I was wrong

Great to see Ox back, was unlucky not to score, really nice turn which threw the defenders, good to see him have the confidence to twist like that after his injuries, great to have him on the bench, maybe some redemption for him in the CL? let's hope so.

Thought Salah was getting abit greedy towards the eed last night, especially after Mane's goals brought him level, I guess it's good to have a player who really wants the golden boot, but if a fellow attacker is in a better position, he should be passing it, but they both got 2 goals, so can't complain too much !!!

A wise man once said that the Ox is no Messi.

I didn’t see the game so can’t comment on that but he became a very important player for us last season. I’m with Stan and think we’d have won the Champions league last season had he been available.

But we’ll never know for sure or if he’d have made any difference this year. I’m just glad he’s back and look forward to seeing him next season.

Ox is a very good option for us no doubt when he is match fit, however Huddersfield were on the ropes when he came on and there seems to be some good spirits needle between Mane and Salah towards the golden boot. They're pushing each other towards the Top PL Goalscorer...Klopp needs to make sure it doesn't get to the point they are being too greedy and taking chances where a better option is available, it happened a couple of times last night where both Mane & Salah were greedy when a better option was available.

I noticed similar with Shaq. He came on looked lively and everyone looked like they were having fun.

Yeah, great to see him & Ox there, real game changers on the bench, when you think of how thread bare our squad was this time last season, I think we only had about 11 fit players!

I fail to share the fan-romance with Ox. If he can perform at the top level consistently for Liverpool, that will be a bonus.

I thought until he got injured he was pretty consistent and very good, he also gave us something that the rest of our MF didn't, he ran/dribbled from MF and supported the forwards, getting goals.

Most fans were surprised at how well he played for us, when we signed him I wasn't sure if it was a good buy, he hardly inspired at Arsenal, but he really seemed to flourish under Klopp.

We will have to wait and see if he is the same player after such a major injury, good luck to him I say.
