Am I reading into his 'old man' celebration a bit too much?

He is supposed to be off to Leeds in the summer (if they make it up) and we are refusing to offer a better deal?

Are we saying he's too old?

He said in his interview is that was for VVD who calls him old man

He doesn't sound like someone who'd be making a point in that manner whilst we're in a title race. I'd be very surprised if was thinking of that.

He's worth another year just to have around the squad even if he's not a regular starter. He must be one of the most underrated players in PL history.

Agreed. He is one of the leaders in the squad and used sparingly can deliver as he still has energy and his experience is priceless.

Not first choice for some time now but a fantastic alternative and first name you want to see on that bench for his versatility and commitment.

It is understandable and the thing is that at least he has his confidence back now. Another Salah goal would put fear into all opponents but from a penalty would just be another stat. If Milner is on he takes them. Pretty sure if we had been 3 up Salah would have been given it. Milner has a fantastic record at penalties and unless the game is beyond doubt he should take them.
