I agree. We already have too much nonsense with players harassing the ref and complaining over decisions and now we have the constant appeals for VAR.

Sure there are bad refs and even good refs have bad days, and there are days when decisions go the wrong way, but over-regulation and stoppages take the passion out of a match. The best referee is one that is not noticed and we now he has become the central character.

VAR stops the game 2-3 times a game while injuries and changing of players a minimum of 5 times. So it's not even close to an issue with perspective.
