Matip has been a revelation. VVD and Fabinho and he have developed a good understanding. And Matip's ventures forward are really impressive. Very pleased for him as he has had his ups and downs, but now is showing his true form.

Yeah fantastic game and some outstanding performances, wonderful! Klopp just about got his two substitutions on in time to settle them down and find a bit of soliditity, however it's top marks all round and what a humdinger of a goal from Salah, avbsolutely world class.
Now for a good show in Portigal to advance on both fronts, Liverpool is back where Liverpool belongs, regardless of the final outcomes, we're back challenging at the top both domestically and in Europe. Well done Klopp and the squad.
