http://www.lfc-news.co.uk/2010/06/29/purslow-hodgson-hunt-not-roger-help-save-liverpool-fc/

May I draw your attentions to the bottom half of the page, under the heading, 'LFC Alternative Strip'.

In my opinion, a superb idea and should it take off, would be as successful in publicising our plight, as the 'Green & Gold Scarf Campaign' has done for the mancs.

On a side note, I added the following comment (to the article) regarding the colours of the 'Protest Shirt'. If you agree with what I suggest, let them know.

"Just an idea regarding the ‘LFC Alternative Strip’. Why not, keeping the shirt design shown above, but changing the shirt colour from black, to that of our first ever shirt worn. For those that don’t know, it was blue and white. Like Blackburn Rovers shirts are today.

This protest shirt would be in immediate contrast to the official LFC shirts and would be easily picked out & drawn attention to, when LFC matches are shown on tv. Just like the ‘Green & Gold Scarf Campaign’, has done for the mancs."

Considering, as you rightly pointed out, that we associate those colours with, 'The Bitters'. I think it's very apt for the situation we find ourselves in, as that's exactly how we all feel. Angry, hurt & bitter. wink
