But I would take Dyballa and about 150 million for him. Or 300 million. This is record hholder for premier league goal scorer we're talking about, and he'll likely be in the 30 goals range this year. COutinho went for 150, having won nothing and with numbers not even close to that. If Juve aren't keen on that price, shop somewhere else.

I think you're referring to the Salah of last season. Aside from his goals, his gameplay has been below average this season. He used to pick up the ball and I'd be certain of either a goal or a shot on target. Now, you can be virtually sure he'll lose possession or make a bad decision. Where has his strength gone!?

He's the same player. Teams are treating him differently now, but he's producing very similar numbers. He averages 2.2 successful dribbles a game (2.1 last year) 3.3 shots per game (4 last year) gets fouled .9 times a game (.8 last year) makes 1.9 Key passes a game (1.7 last year) and loses the ball around 3.3 times a game (2.6 last year). Some areas are marginally better, some are marginally worse. There's not really a lot of difference.

He may not quite match that record goals tally, but he'll comfortably score around 25+ and he's on course to get more assists. Even though he didn't score against Watford, he destroyed their right hand side. The reports of his demise have been very much exaggerated. He's the best attacking player in the league, and he's likely to win the golden boot two years running. If Juve want him, they better be ready to spend a ton of money. He's done more than Neymar's done in a single season, and he's still only 25.

Btw, he is 26 and 27 in 3 months not 25. Everybody can see he is not as good as he was last season though I agree teams have an anti Salah strategy now. He has also scored less than last year (17 vs 23) even less, penalty corrected, as he is taking them this season. The biggest issue for me is him losing the ball which is actually 25% more than last year, which is striking in games. He is still a very good player but not as last year. I think Aguero will however win the golden boot this season (assuming both are not injured), may be because City is more attacking.

The fact is Salah had an absolute blinding season last season and it would have been unheralded to have even matched last season's stats. He has still had a brilliant season by Premier League accounts and this with a Liverpool team that has evolved attacking wise, so differently from last.

Should we cash in if somebody comes in with a large enough fee...
175m or less = Nope because we'd be hard pressed to pay anything below 100m to replace him and if we are going to sell we want to get at least 2 exceptional players for the price we want for Salah.

175m or more = Yes if we can get the players Klopp wants to replace Salah with 1st.

Salah is at the top of his game for his age and he is just below the bracket of Messi & Ronaldo with a marked upturn because of his age.

The important part to selling Salah is that we are not left with our kecks around our ankles, which has happened so many times in the past when selling our best players. Have the replacements in 1st then sell.

Last summer I would have sold Salah to RM for Bake+75m and bought a CF for 75m. I am not sure this summer as Bale will be 30. A lot depends on how good and ready Harry Wilson is, but buying a player of Salah's quality won't be easy.

Bale would be our next Harry Kewell, he'd be a horrible signing.

Yeah I wouldn’t touch Bale now.

If we had to sell Salah, I’d go for someone younger like Sancho or Bailey, ten splash the rest on a top striker.

That said, we should be able to afford a big summer signing without selling Bale, so better to keep Salah and just sign a striker to play with him

Can’t believe we’re even talking about Bale. In no way what we need.

We wouldn't contemplate him. Too old and just wouldn't fit into what we are continually building.

Salah had an extraordinary season last year, which was never going to be repeated, he was never going to match that, he's scored 17 PL goals this season and is likely to break 20+ goals and could be top PL scorer, he also creates space for other players with his creativity and the attention the opposition give him, that's why the likes of Mane are getting more goals now, as Mane was the focus to stop Liverpool before Salah arrived.

Salah been a great buy when you consider most fans would have been happy if he made double figures, considering he was bought as a winger and most people saw his as more cover for Mane than a starter.

He also seems to be a nice guy who plays with a smile on his face, if we sell, I'd expect £200 million as he's one of the best attackers out there and we would struggle to replace him.
