Reds legend John Barnes will be on the Question Time panel this evening. The topical debate programme in which guests from the worlds of politics and the media answer questions posed by members of the public, kicks off at 10.45pm on BBC One.

John's left liberal on his politics from what I have picked up in the past and very into the race politics. I watch question time regularly and the non political guest is usually some dopy London comedian. I thought john did very well on the night and spoke a lot of sense about the Liam neeson issue. Refreshing to have someone articulate as the non politician guest rather than the idiots the BBC normally put up.

John's left liberal on his politics from what I have picked up in the past and very into the race politics. He did not make a good start he said ordinary people are not intelligent enough to understand implications it was not brexiteers the whole audience reacted badly if he is right then we might as stop public votes and elections. He realised his mistake and moved on and did well after that.

No one ever knows the future although I think I could take a pretty good stab at it if we were ever barmy enough to put Corbyn in charge of our economy. Economically we are actually doing pretty well all the chaos is due to our MP,s many of whom are still refusing to accept the public vote

On the subject of John Barnes and the Liam Neeson situation it is bad the way he pigeon holed a person of color because a nearest and dearest was raped by one, however that was a sentiment on his behalf he didn't go out and act it.
Take Empire actor Jussie Smollett over here in the USA and what he did and it's a whole different level of ball game! and this is not an isolated incident it's rampant in the USA...racism/hate hoax crimes predominantly against white, Christian Conservatives.

I thought he did great and he received a lot of positive feedback from social media.
He's right. Your average Joe, me included, doesn't understand the consequences of EU business/finances etc.
