Quite a few tabloid stories going round about either Juve or Real making huge offers for Moh.
It would not surprise me if a massive offer was accepted. One of the things I find so disappointing about modern football is that it is not possible to 100% embrace a Liverpool player because you can marvel at their skills, but they are basically a financial assett and they are gone with the wave of a cheque book.

I’ve seen these stories and mentioned it in the shout box. Not quite sure where Juve would get the money what with having Ronaldo and getting Ramsey on £400k a week? I could see it more from Real though but we’ll see I suppose.

Not sure if that's a bad thing, players will leave at some point, only the club should be embraced 100%.

I can see Madrid coming for him, but if Klopp gets another £150m to replace him, so be it. Look what he did with the Couts cash.

IF he wins us a league title this season he can go where he likes. I'll drive him to Madrid myself. grin

Coutinho basically brought us up a level. From fighting for 4th to challenging for the league. To keep at the level we are at now and keep progressing we should not be selling any of our world class players. We should only be adding or developing them if we can.

Top class players do not have to leave if as a club you match their ambition.

They could well if the likes of Madrid come calling, it's a fact for a lot of top players.

I don't think Coutinho brought us up a level at all. In fact we haven't got close to the league the last 4 seasons and have improved signifcantly since he left, mainly due to the purchases made with the money. Since he left we've gone from fighting for 4th to challenging for the league, not the other way round. No doubt Klopp wanted to keep him, but he was a worthy sacrifice and Barca over-paid.

He was a top player for us and I don't WANT to sell anymore top players, but they'll go at some point.

Phil vs VvD + Allison..?

If Juve want him, I’d ask for Dybala plus cash. Then go and sign someone like Insigne.

Would give a front 3 of

Mane————Insigne
———Dybala———

With Firmino, Shaqiri etc to rotate with them. We could end up stronger overall

Unless Dybala is sold, cannot see Juve buying Salah

It'll be a disaster, but I can't see FSG turning down £175m, if the story's true, so expect a similar PR spiel as preceded the Coutinho sale. All we can do is hope upon hope it's a load of bull.

Don't think it would be a disaster for 175m
