There's no reason to dislike a player for injuries or becoming ineffective, but I suppose people are frustrated that his calibre of player is in the starting 11.

He looked the freshest player out there, and created the goal out of nothing. Most of our players were gasping for air after 60min despite having a so called summer break away from the snow. His quality is waning due to injuries but he tried everything to get involved.

It was great play from Lallana to setup the goal. But he was awful and has been for a while now

Won't say he is awful because he is transparent except for some roundabouts. We don't have a choice, too late now, he needs to perform like Silva for us to win something.

Lallana is a decent squad player, he shouldn't be starting games, he should be a player we bring on to take off one of the starters, he has allot of ability but lacks pace, but he can pick a good pass and is creative, as we saw for the goal, so is probably best against a tiring defense.

We should have players to rotate not warm the bench until opponents are tired

Who else rotates on a regular basis? As far as I can tell, most clubs put out their strongest 11 and play some of the reserves in cup games etc. If we constantly rotate players, how will they ever form proper partnerships? Players need time together to learn how they play to help each other. The notion that we need to rotate is a bit silly.

We need a better bench but rotating on a regular basis has never worked.

City rotates regularly, you don't even know who will play, especially in midfield. Jesus rotates with Aguero as well, especially at the beginning of the season. United rotates as well. Rashford didn't even play today

Aguero has played 22 times, 2 of those from the subs bench. Jesus has played 20 times with 13 from the bench. Hardly looks like rotation when you consider that Aguero has been out injured for spells too.

Rashford was rested after a run of games. Again, hardly rotation but giving a player a rest when they need it.

When a player not injured is on the bench and the team gets the expected result because the player coming on did as good a job, it means rotation. Rotation doesn't mean exactly 50-50% of games but players can take a rest without the team suffering. Who can Mane and Firmino rotate with, Lallana and Origi who are nowhere near in quality.
