So, we go into January, top of the league and with the best shout winning it than ever before. We're crippled with injuries so what do we do......
Loan out a player we desperately need and end another transfer window with a positive net spend.
Klopp this, Klopp that...... forget it. This stinks of FSG penny pinching !!
So long as we finish in top 4, FSG do not give a phuck about us winning the Premiership.
I'm sure a lot of us were surprised when FSG splashed the cash on Allison, VVD, Ketia and Fabhino but honestly, once again, just like the Saurez season, FSG won't dip their hand into their ar5e pocket for that little bit of edge we need.

He has a point I don't think FSG care what we win or not the whole thing is a commercial venture. If we made more money just staying top four they would be more than happy with that.

I think True Red is right. This is probably our best 'chance' and we've failed to strengthen. The way we play (high energy) gives no respite to the front three that, Mane apart, look jaded. Our squad is undoubtedly weaker than either of the Manchester squads and we know our midfield is short on guile. This window was the time to spend £100M on a striker that could step in for Salah or Firminio. The fact that we've made do and over-achieved this far is papering the cracks. We desperately needed some quality and I don't blame Klopp because I'm sure he would have liked to be able to turn to an alternative to Origi, last night. Personally, I'd have Coutinho back, if we could get him. At least he scored goals and created a different threat. I think, realistically, it's going to be hard from here on. We'll probably finish third, I think. We've just run out of steam.

I was thinking more defensively, like a player for RB or a CB or maybe see if we could just buyback Klavan or see if we could pay off Bournemouth to have Klyne back. The truth is, FSG didn't need to buy in, they should have paid the wages for what we had. And before anyone (im not meaning you) gives me the line these players left because they wanted to, I don't and well never believe any of it. My trust in the group and Klopp in areas like this went when Couthino had a bad back but flew to Brazil for a game.

It could be that FSG are the ones reluctant to spend in January, but that type of failure is also par for the course with Klopp. Whichever of them is responsible it shows a lack of commitment and ambition towards winning, as I can't believe anyone with a commitment or ambition to win would have failed to at least strengthen our depleted defence, let alone deliberately weaken it by loaning out an international full back, when our 1st choice full back and halfback are both out injured. It's quite incredible really.
