We have enough to see out the season unless Klopp has a top target in mind that would impact the first team in a big way.

I'd like to see a CB to compete with Gomez, a RB to compete with TAA (or a versatile defender since Moreno's going too) and a top striker/winger to really compete with the front 3.

If Ox is training he could make a difference for the last 10 games I'm sure. These young uns bounce back quickly.

It's not as flashy or deep as City but I still feel we have enough cover across the board, the only weakness is left wing and maybe left back as Moreno can't defend. We can mix it up and still win games with the current squad.

Agree and you forgot the Ox. It’s not as deep as City but is enough to compete as has been shown.

I don't think the Ox will be game fit enough to make a difference, even if he can play this season, he has been out too long.

Depends when he comes back. If he’s back some time in February then there’s plenty of games to get match fit and have an impact.

That's the standards that have been set and if we dont at least match it then there is very little chance of us being champions. Its pretty straight forward. We have to accept that "the best liverpool team and squad ever", if that is indeed what we're seeing right now, might not actually be good enough to win the premier league in this era. And if that is the case then we must improve, I dont give a [oops] whether we're the best we've ever been, it doesnt mean anything unless we WIN!!

Absolutely old chap wise words. How we react now for the rest of the season is what it's about. If we carry on as before I think we will win it

Ox has only just resumed light training, Klopp said he hasn't put a date on him being back yet. I'd imagine because of the injury he had he's going to be at least 2 months away from being considered for the squad.

The problem is that we cannot afford to get him match fit in games as they are all important now, a bit what happened to Clyne. So he will probably be used if we have injuries while he is not match fit enough. He hasn't trained for a long time.

Are we letting players leave on loan/sold to reduce the wage bill/raise money? or has Klopp decided he does not want to use these players? we are already the lowest wage payers of the top clubs, Chelsea/City/Utd wage bill are all larger than ours, we are about on par with Arsenal, it feels we are taking risks on the run in when we do not have to, we should not let players go unless we want them to go.

Unless Klopp is clearing the decks to bring in a big player or 2 in January, this could come back and bite us in the run in, having just seen Lovren go off injured, we really are down to bare bones in CB, this also puts more pressure on the fit CB like VvD.

if this is our strength in depth, we have serious problems for the run in, we have have been fairly lucky with injuries so far this season.
