Just reading apbout potential changes for Monday's game. Sounds like Migs will start in goal and lots of other players will come in such as Moreno, Sturridge, Origi etc. I'm not sure that's a good idea after Thursday's result.

Wolves are a very good side and will probably put out a full strength team. We need to win just to keep the vultures away and get a good, positive mood back well in time for the next league game. If we don't win, people will start the negative talk and the pressure will increase unecessarily.

We should mix it up and not make whole sale changes. Kieta and Fabinho should play, Shaqiri aswell. Its vital we bounce back in this game, I know it's not a league game but that's not important right now,

Alisson

Camacho Lovren Vvd Moreno

Shaqiri Keita Fabinho Milner

Sturridge Mane

To be honest the title is my priority the FA cup is nothing today less than the league cup. If we win great but I would rather be beat than a replay

I agree the league is far more important and in some ways a defeat may be a blessing. I'm just concerned about the potential impact a 2nd successive defeat would have on the team and hence on our league form. Tricky one, but I guess that's what we pay Klopp for.

Reading the above 2 comments makes me angry, I don't understand this defeatist attitude towards the cups, we need to bounce back above all else so why should you not care about the result? I want the club to win every match they play no matter what competition. These players get insane salaries to perform in all competitions not just the league. We are up against it in all competitions, City chasing, we got Bayern in the CL so why not try in the easier competition? This season has been special so far but we need to win something to call it a success even if it's just a cup.

Personally, I would play this game as if it was a league game and rotate players accordingly. However, as stated in my opening post I understand that Klopp has already indicated that he will be making big changes. Hence comments above are in that context. I don't think we can make so many changes and still expect to win against a strong Wolves side.

So you want to treat this like a league game but also said "a defeat would be a blessing". Which is it? Make your mind up. Pathetic wishing a defeat on this team especially with the extraordinary season they are having.

Are you a journalist by profession Snakeye? You've used quote marks but have totally misquoted me. In my opening post I said 'we need to win...'. In a later post I said '...in some ways a defeat may be a blessing...', i.e. that is the spin I would put on it after the event if we do lose.

All of us would obviously like us to win every game. But all we're doing is weighing things up given that we know that our resources will be stretched and that Klopp is likely to make lots of changes.

Given our current league position, if Klopp is forced to take risks and prioritise competitions, then i think most would agree that the priority order is 1. League 2. Champions League 3. F.A. Cup.
