Only so much room for strikers / forwards with Bobby Duncan, Harry Wilson and Rhian Brewster the next in line. £19m is crazy money for Solanke.
Werner is reportedly available for as little as £36m and they don't want to sell to Bayern Munich. It seems potentially a steal on the scale of what we paid for the current front 3. If we could get him for that it will be a no brainer like Shaqiri.

It'll probably mean a new contract for Sturridge now. Or we are buying Timo Werner...Ok I hoping Isnt he a bit old ?

He has potential, £19 Million for someone with potential is allot of money, considering we got him for £3 million in a trubunal, it's good business.
He was behind Sturridge, Origi & Brewster (when he's fit), so he wasn't going to get much game time, so best he leaves, surprised we sold rather than a loan, I hope we have a decent buy back clause, he could turn out to be a good striker.
Hopefully we will bring in a top class forward/AM to fit into our system.

Surely if Clyne is being allowed out on loan Klopp has somebody to come in, in his place? if not he's playing with fire. TAA has had some niggling injuries this season, so has Milner and we all know about Gomez injury history with us.
We need cover for TAA before we allow Clyne to go.
Would be silly to let Clyne go on loan, he's proved he can play at the top level still for us, TAA & Gomez miss games regularly with injuries, so we need top class cover, can't see us buying better than Clyne ATM.

For 19m you can't really complain, I just hope this frees up funds for us to do a bit of business but its probably unlikely.
