I think if we lose or draw tommorow the pressure is on us to get a result at city. However if we rattle out another win. The pressure is on city to a result on the 3rd jan. A defeat at that game would not be a disaster and the balance of pressure in those circumstances would suit us sitting back and hitting city on the break. Thus of the two games the one tommorow is the more critical, in my opinion

I agree. If Spurs cut us back to 3 points before our game then winning tomorrow answers that question of how we react to pressure again.

It also means City have to chase the game against us to get a win. And of course before that they would need a result v Southampton.

The next game is always the most important one and if we perform well we will win it.

The run of fixtures coming up suggest Spurs can maintain a really good run. However I think the Carabao Cup may get in their way. I will be a lot happier when they are 8 points behind.

I don't think there's any pressure at all... apart from the normal pressure of wnating to win and avoid losing.

Even if we lose both games we may still be top. And these are games that, on paper at least, dropped points wouldn't be unexpected. If anything, the pressure is on City to make sure that they don't lose more points.

I think the worse thing we can do is goto City thinking we can hang on for a draw, we need to go and play as normal and try and win, if we end up with a draw that's fine.

The last 2 City results show you how things can change quickly in the PL, we have been the beneficiaries of this, but the same could easily happen to us, we have had some luck this season, all it takes is a deflected goal or dodgy ref's decision and we have lost, so I wouldn't look too far ahead, just win the next game and the rest takes care of itself, usual footy cliches!

I am worried about Aubameyang, he will be the biggest test of our defense so far this season, but Klopp knows him well, we need to stop his supply, as he will out away any chances.

I watched them away to Brighton who made them look ordinary at best, I’m sceptical about their 22 game unbeaten run, I mean they used to disappear deep into some unknown place in Europe on a Thursday night and come back claiming they had won? I’m quietly confident about tomorrow.

They looked very ordinary against Southampton too who chased them down and pressed them into defeat.

Klopp has a good record against them since he has been with us and we are at home. I expect us to win but the performance is not as important as it used to be. The 3 points is though and a clean sheet the next important thing.

A team that wins 16 out of 19 games is a special one. One that scores as many as we do but more importantly is hard to score against is very special.

Another 19 games like we have seen so far please. Because that may be what we need to do.

They're both equally important.

Win both games and we could be 12 points clear.

Lose both games we could be in second place.

Every game counts right now
