Top of the League and still in the Champions League coming into the end of 2018. The season is wonderful so far and the results are worth celebrating for a few days. Now simmer down and move on to the next game, and the next and the next because so far we have won now't.
The signs are there that this team can achieve something this season. Forget all of the hype in the press because there is a lot of work to do before any genuine celebrating and congratulations are due.

We can try and play chess and look at what is on the horizon after Man Utd, however we've learned fairly quickly in these last few games that we can't do that because of injuries / bans.
I think we are all fairly excited by where we are, however we have had many false dawns in our recent history.
I think the old adage is "Let's take one game at a time".

Well, the op has a point there, so we can't afford to get ahead of ourselves, especially with City and other strong contenders competing. However having said that, I'm keeping faith with my trusty tea leaves, and they have predicted we'll win both the Cup and the title in 2019. Shaggydog reports from the beautiful banks of the foyle, that he's getting even better readings from his vast and voluminous teabags, so what's there to worry about folks?

If'n it did I'd be chief advisor to Mrs May by now, telling her the tea leaves recommend she ditch the DUP, ASP....

Exactly. This team has never won a trophy. And to win that first one will take immense focus. Once trophy number one is in the cabinet, it gives a massive boost to the team confidence and more trophies will follow. Hopefully we will have a new generation of LFC legends.

Top of the league at the end of the year should mean that side will generally win the league. I rate our current chances of winning the title at 60%.
Yes that is conservative, because I still see too many simple passing errors, our front players are weak in holding up the ball and there are some basic coaching wrinkles to iron out.
I believe the lack of fluency will be solved when Shaq, Nabula and Fabio are first choice regular starters. I also still reckon we need a real central striker who can actually hit the ball with either foot and doesn't fall over when the jiggery-pokery doesn't work.

I’d say 60% is generous rather than conservative. I have it more at 35-40% given we’re only 1 point ahead of city, and they have much better strength in depth.
