yep, this old chestnut.

firstly, for our english counterparts on here, comiserations again, that was robbery. granted england were shakey at the back, they still could have nipped it.

aside from that, you were robbed, we were robbed against france, mexico were robbed, so who in their right mind actually still thinks video evidence isnt a good idea. is it only bladder and pratini who dont want it?

i think it's because they wouldn't be able to charge so much for buying off officials when the teams could just use video evidence to contest the decisions wink

It was on the tv debate highlights on ITV. Sepp Blatter statement is it makes for more interesting sport as you debate the decisions. Also even with technology a decision would have to be taken by a human being.

Following that logic air traffic control should be by a 62 year old man with binoculars who waves at planes if they are going the wrong way. We would all have some very exciting debates in the departure lounge.

Football is probably the biggest commercial sport in the world and is ruled by amateurs. This needs to change and somehow we need a new governing body. The sponsors are the key, address the funding and you will address the governance. Money talks and we fans ultimately provide all the money by our consumerism.

A world movement similar in style to the Utd fans against the glaziers is needed. Internet based initially and it could spread to grounds across Europe. As earlier poster has stated no one agrees with FIFA.

thats blatters arguement? then he is a complete moron. (nice analogy by the way laugh )
maybe we should get rid of traffic lights too. he's a sensationalist idiot who thrives on drama and has no interest in justice or fair play. he's disgusting.

The bloke is a moron. There will still be plenty to debate about after games. It wouldn't have to slow the games either. Look how long it took to put Argentina's off side goal on the big screen. It was a matter of seconds.

I do, though, think it should be just for the goal line. That way we have the human error the Sepp wants but we will still have the tech for where it really matters.

I watch Rugby League and I feel it adds to the excitement as you wait for the verdict. And as for wasting time its only a few minutes. And what is this time thing ? we pay £40 plus to watch a game and who in their right mind wants it to be as over early as possible?

Absolute bonkers FIFA
