Roy Hodgeson,ngood enough for england but not good enough for a mid table premiership team? i have no idea who would want to come to manage us in our current state but i think we need someone with premiership knowledge and experience. whoever comes in isn't likely to be given much money to put their stamp on the team early, will be under extreme pressure to start well and has a dressing room that needs picking up and binding. for me hodgeson fits the bill better than any of the other candidates mentioned.
i also think this result could be terrible news for us, the disapointment and dispondency gerrard will be feeling now must be immense. Wouldn't be surprised if he took one look at the situation at liverpool now and just thinks its time to get to somewhere he can enjoy playing football again, a little more burden free but with a better chance of winning some more medals. he's got pretty much every liverpool fans dream life and just looks constantly miserable
