Fabinho would have been subbed off yesterday if we had anyone to replace him. I hope he's not going to be one of those inconsistent types that you never know what to expect, however too early to judge so jury out...for now. Klopp could have subbed him for Shaq but he us being very cautious this season and calculating, this has served us well so far compared to last season. City and even Arsenal have a bigger attacking attitude right now. Looking at Arsenal, looks like a draw away is not a bad result

Looking at Arsenal, looks like a draw away is not a bad result Yes I agree, but IMO he's being too cautious, especially when the opponent is using a makeshift defence as Arsenal were yesterday. We were better yesterday when we changed to the 4231 with Shaqueri on. I feel we should have used that setup from the start and I think we'd have reaped the rewards. I'm struggling to see the positives in two dropped points when all three were on, had we the guts to go for it. There's a time to be cautious and a time to be bold, and I think Klopp got it wrong yesterday.

There is no reason why we should have not come out of that game with 3 points if we had not been so negative in our approach. We are trying to be more defensive this season and our general play is just not clicking like before. Every game should be treated differently. But I think we got our tactics wrong yesterday.

City playing with Aguero, Sterling, Sane and the 2 Silvas, while Klopp is hesitating to put Shaq in the midfield. I don't know why he is so cautious after improving the defence so much.

Exactly!
The defence is so good that they only need 1 midfielder to be a bit more defensive - not 3 as it was yesterday!
When our front 3 have problems scoring they need help from the midfield - which Shaq would have provided!
And when Bobby is so out of form - why not sub Danny on? He always scores!

The Arsenal game was 2 points lost. A disallowed goal and hitting the woodwork twice is not an indication that we deserved the draw.
As for Fabhino, he should have come off after 20 mins. His first touch was awful and was the proverbial 'Rabbit in the headlights' The lad was well out of our depth and the team's lack of confidence in the mid field showed.
Klopp's lack of decision making, once again, cost us cost us 2 points against a side that was just there for the taking.

Isn't it possible to play a bit more defensive with the same players then? With Wij, Fab and Milner on the pitch you can't play offensive football because that's not their strength. Arsenal ruled the midfield and that was because of the players that played there and to some extent the formation itself (which Klopp tweaked a bit for the 2:nd half). 3 defensive cm's isn't ok against a team with makeshift defenders. We should have attacked more! Hence it should have been Shaq instead of Fab!
